This collection is a new exploration on a new material - raw canvas. Working with a new substrate has been an interesting way to push my work further into a more softer approach. Layering and applying colour, finding the flow of working on new material. Working with the push and pull of organic and fluid movements, focusing on letting things find there way with intention but also a sense of fluid looseness. Guidance and easing rather than forcing what is coming next. Playing with natural colours, balancing control and release. Letting go of perfection and leaning into flow.
