the dance of growth
This painting took a while to come to the surface. It took time to take shape, for me to realise what this piece was about, what it was trying to explain to me. Which sounds strange as you may think, but you’re in control? Sometimes a painting just works through you, it takes many variances, layers, marks, colours. It keeps getting close and then it goes down another route. This was what this painting was telling me. It is not the destination as cheesy as that might sound but it is in face about the journey. Grief, joy, life, it is not linear it is a constant momentum, sometimes filled with happiness, sometimes filled with despair and that is okay.
The title ‘the dance of growth’ seemed more than fitting.
